Mobiasbanca – Groupe Société Générale - discover talents and values. Discover Moldova.

On 21 May 2015, CB “Mobiasbanca - Groupe Société Générale” S.A. organized an event dedicated to the 150 talented Moldovan revealed within the “150 Moldovans. Discover Moldova” project, launched last year to celebrate 150 years of the founding of the Groupe Société Générale. Journalists, artists, friends and partners of the bank met in a festive atmosphere to get know the protagonists of this project.

Scientists, musicians, athletes and performers, doctors, architects or freethinkers who are known in their professional fields and have achieved great, unique things - were the inspiration for the project’s initiators. People with talent and dedication, leading country’s reputation abroad, but less known to their countrymen, deserve our gratitude and appreciation.

“I supported this project from the beginning of the idea, because I think Moldova needs an image to shine abroad, and this can be achieved by the people they represent. Moldova has talent, has nice and generous people with great potential”, said Ridha Tekaia, president of the bank, stressing that, with this project he wishes to support talents’ promotion, making known to the public which will inspire and encourage other talented people, and also to contribute to their retention in the country.

The project has involved a young and enthusiastic team of CB “Mobiasbanca - Groupe Société Générale” S.A. and agency “Publicis Moldova” those who discovered talents and created a dedicated page on the bank’s website to promote the 150 Moldovans. They also made 10 video spots with the heroes of the project and an electronic catalog with all success stories in three languages (Romanian, English, Russian) for mobile application “150 Moldovans” developed for Android and iOS, which can be downloaded free from the Play Store and Apple Store.

Eugen Boico, “Publicis Moldova” director, thanked CB „Mobiasbanca - Groupe Société Générale” S.A. for supporting the idea, mentioning that he had enjoyed working on this project with a trusted partner. In turn, Veaceslav Cebotari, chief customer associate partner at “Publicis Moldova” agency, said in his welcoming speech: “150 Moldovans are just a small part of what Moldova has to offer to the world. It’s a good start and we hope to continue to find more talented people”.

For project’s  continuity CB “Mobiasbanca - Groupe Société Générale” S.A. hosts a contemporary art  exhibition “Renaissance” in the headquarters and No. 9 branch of the bank, organized in collaboration with Traian Chivriga, founder of the platform “Vintage” and one of the 150 Moldovans.
