After eight decades, the National Philharmonic “Serghei Lunchevici”, in the Top of the most notorious institutions in the field, in the CIS Region

In the 80 years since its founding, the National Philharmonic “Serghei Lunchevici” occupies a praiseworthy place in the ranking of the most notorious institutions in the CIS Region, according to the tourist portal “TurStat”, alongside the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic and the Saint-Petersburg Academic Philharmonic. Founded in 1940, the National Philharmonic “Serghei Lunchevici” has become the most important concert institution in the Republic of Moldova carrying out a wide range of activities in various directions: academic music, folk music, light music and jazz. The most representative groups and well-known personalities of the Moldovan musical culture started their activity at the National Philharmonic.
