A special holiday for children attending School no. 6

Every year, on December 3rd, the international community commemorates the International Day of People with Disabilities. On this day, communities around the world are encouraged to support the rights and dignity of the people with various forms of disability, to ensure their inclusiveness by eliminating barriers to their participation in various areas of activity.  
Traditionally, each year, on this day, Mobiasbanca is close to the children with special needs, which are enrolled at the School no.6 and strives to create a special atmosphere for these children by offering them gifts and good cheer.  As part of the Special Olympics movement, the celebration of this day was performed under the slogan ”The sport of equal opportunities”, with relay races and sporting contests, as well as with artistic numbers performed by the children.

Mobiasbanca, as a true friend, which is supporting Special Olympics events since 2010, pledges to cover the travel cost for the participants at the Special Olympics World Games which will take place in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, in March 2019”, Viorica Tudos, the head of Communication and Quality Department said. 
Educational programs, exercises that help explore the world via games and sensor devices, sporting activities designed in accordance with a special program adapted to the children needs – are offered at the School no. 6 for children with special needs, in a newly renovated building, equipped with all facilities necessary to ensure intellectual and physical development of these children.
This year, the Special Olympics Association of the Republic of Moldova marks 50 years since its establishment, which works at encouraging social inclusion of children with physical and intellectual disabilities via movement and sporting activities.
