About Google Pay

Google Pay is a secure way to pay in stores, in-app and online. Google Wallet is a digital wallet, an app that stores your bank cards so you can use them with Google Pay.

It can also store loyalty cards, airline tickets and more. With Google Pay you can pay with your phone, tablet or smartwatch at any store at home or abroad that accepts contactless payments, online retailers and mobile apps that support Google Pay.

To use Google Pay you need:

- have a device with at least Android 5/Wear OS 2.15 and NFC technology
- install the Google Wallet app from the online Google Play Store
- be a holder of an OTP Bank Visa card (Business, debit or credit)
- make sure that you have updated the mobile phone number declared to the bank. For support, contact the Call Center at +37322256456.

Advantages of Google Pay

  • Simple and fast.
With Google Pay, you no longer have to search for cards in your wallet, just hold your phone or watch close to the screen of the device that accepts contactless payments and your payment will be made in seconds.
  • Extra security with every payment.
Google Wallet does not share your real card details, but replaces them with a virtual numeric code (token) that changes with each payment, so your payment information is not shared with the merchant. Google does not store or distribute any details about your cards or your personal data and does not retain transaction information. What's more, by using your OTP Bank Visa card through Google Pay, you'll enjoy all the advantages, benefits and protection it offers.
  • Zero costs.
Google Pay is absolutely free. Transactions are processed with the same fees as when you pay with a physical card.

How to pay with Google Pay

In stores

To pay with your phone, simply activate/unlock the screen, bring the phone near the payment terminal and wait for the payment confirmation message. No need to access the app. The only thing you need to make sure is that you have the NFC function active.

To pay with a smartwatch, open the Google Wallet app on your device and bring it close to the POS terminal until you receive a beep or vibration confirmation.

Note: for some transactions, Google Pay may require additional Face/Touch ID or password confirmation. This helps prevent fraud if your phone is lost or stolen.

Online

С помощью Google Pay вы можете оплатить покупку всего несколькими щелчками мыши везде, где отображается кнопка "G Pay" или "Купить с G Pay" (на веб-сайтах или в мобильных приложениях), без ввода данных карты или дополнительной информации.
